I. The Holy Scriptures - We believe that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God. This refers to the sixty-six books in the Old and New Testaments. We believe that the same God who inspired the Scriptures also providentially preserved them in the Masoretic Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek of the Textus Receptus New Testament. We also believe that the King James Bible is the accurate and faithful translation of those texts. For all intents and purposes the King James Bible is our final authority in all matters. (1st Timothy 3:16, Psalms 12:6-7, Matthew 4:4, Matthew 24:35)
II. The Triune Godhead - We believe that God eternally exists in three persons. These are the Father, the Word (Son), and the Holy Ghost. These three are one God with precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections. All are worthy of the same honour and worship. (Matthew 28:19, John 1:1-4;14, John 15:26, 2nd Corinthians 13:14, 1st John 5:7)
III. Man - Man was created in the image and likeness of God. Through Adam's disobedience all of mankind has become sinners. In this state man is unable to restore his position before God neither is he able to save himself from the wrath of God. (Genesis 1:26, Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2:1-3)
IV. Jesus Christ as Saviour - We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the virgin born Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Ghost therefore being born without the sin nature. Having lived a sinless life he went to the cross of Calvary to die for our sins, he was buried and rose again on the third day. Currently he is seated at the right hand of the Father in heavenly places. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No man can come to God but by Jesus Christ. (Luke 1:35, Hebrews 4:15, 1st Corinthians 15:3-4, Ephesians 1:20-21, John 14:6)
V. Salvation - We believe that salvation today comes by grace through faith. This comes through believing in the gospel of Christ. One must trust that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. Once a person is saved they are saved eternally. Upon belief in the gospel the believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 1:16, 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30, 2nd Timothy 2:19, 2nd Corinthians 1:22)
VI. The Church - We believe the Church today to be the body of Christ. It is comprised of all who have trusted the gospel of Christ for salvation. We believe the Church to be separate and distinct from the Nation of Israel. We believe the historical beginning of the Church the body of Christ is in Acts chapter 9 with the conversion of Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus and will last until the catching up of the Church in the clouds. Saul, who is also called Paul, became the Apostle of the Gentiles. It was to Paul that God revealed the mystery concerning the Church. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 1st Corinthians 12:12-14; 18, Romans 9-11, 1st Timothy 1:16, Romans 11:13, 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18, Ephesians 3:1-10, Colossians 1:25-27)
VII. Baptism - We believe that all those who trust in the gospel of Christ are baptized by the Spirit of God into the Body of Christ. We believe this to be the "one baptism" of Ephesians 4:5. We believe this baptizing work of the Holy Spirit seals the believer in Christ until he returns to redeem his Church. (1st Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 1:13, 4:5, 1st Corinthians 1:17, 2nd Corinthians 5:16, Romans 6:3-4, 14:22)
VIII. The Return of Christ - We believe in the literal return of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first return will be to catch away his Church in the air, commonly called "the Rapture". This will initiate the Day of the Lord, also known as the tribulation. After the tribulation, Jesus Christ will return again. This time his feet will physically touch the ground. At this time, he will judge the world and establish his kingdom on earth for 1,000 years. (1st Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1st Corinthians 15:51-52, 2nd Thessalonians 2:1-12, Zechariah 14:1-9, Revelation 19:11 - 20:6)
IX. Eternal Punishment - We believe in the doctrine of eternal punishment for the wicked in a literal place called Hell. All of those who die without Christ will end up in the flames of Hell. There they will remain until the Great White Throne judgment. From there they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire to burn throughout eternity. (Psalm 9:17, Proverbs 27:20, Isaiah 5:14, Matthew 10:28, Matthew 23:33, Luke 16:19-31, Revelation 20:11-15)
X. The Christian Life - We believe that believers in Christ can know God personally and intimately. To walk with and love him is the ultimate goal of the Christian experience. To commune with him should be the Christian's greatest desire. Our final purpose on earth is to bring God glory and honour for we are trophies that show forth his mercy, grace and wisdom. We are not here to serve ourselves or have God serve us. We exist in order to be servants of the eternal, sovereign, triune God. In order to do this properly we must follow the Apostle Paul as he followed the Lord Jesus Christ. In this we must consistently pray to God and study the Bible in order to better worship God in spirit and in truth. (Ephesians 1:6, 14, Ephesians 2:6-7, 1st Corinthians 4:16, 1st Corinthians 11:1, Philippians 3:17, Philippians 4:6, John 4:24, 2nd Timothy 2:15)
